When G-Shock goes metal it splits in two. G-STEEL layers a steel bezel over a resin core, keeping the shock rating while reading closer to a conventional watch. MT-G goes further, building the case around a metal core.

Both run Tough Solar and most add Bluetooth time sync. This is the range to look at if you want a G-Shock that still works under a shirt cuff.
