Care Instructions

1. Handle gently to maintain performance.
2. Avoid exposure to water (probe is waterproof).
3. Clean by wiping with a dry cloth; sterilize the probe with ethyl (rubbing) alcohol if needed.
4. Avoid contact with chemicals or solvents.
5. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
6. Avoid extreme bending.
7. Do not disassemble except for battery replacement.

Battery Replacement

When the low-battery symbol appears:

1. Remove the battery cover.
2. Gently remove the old battery using a non-metallic tool.
3. Insert a new battery, ensuring correct polarity (+ side up, - side down).
4. Secure the cover.

Important:

• Keep batteries out of reach of children.
• Do not recharge the battery.
• Do not expose to fire.

How to Use

1. Press the on/off button; the display will show 188.8°C (188°F).
2. Release the switch; the display will show L°C (or L°F) with °C (or °F) flashing.
3. Clean the probe if necessary and position for measurement.
4. When the degree sign stops flashing (usually 30-60 seconds), the temperature is ready. An alarm sounds for 10 seconds on beeper models.
5. For accurate results, minimize external air influence during measurement.
6. Read the display; it retains the reading after removal.
7. The unit auto-shuts off in 8-10 minutes, or press the power switch to turn off manually for battery conservation.
